Content Manager’s intuitive interfaces make it simple to use. Just navigate your site in the normal way and instantly make the changes you require using the simple WYSIWYG editor. Alternatively, jump straight to the page in question via a file manager style site map.
WYSIWYG editor:
The editor adopts the style and features you would expect to find in common word processing packages, making it familiar and simple to use. Images and media content can also be uploaded and managed through the editor.
Customised style and layout:
By using customised page layouts and pre-defined style sheets, you can control the look and feel of your site, ensuring that it always looks professional and meets your brand guidelines. Item based content blocks allow you to design the layout of each screen and share content across different pages, with the ability to edit them centrally.
Workflow Management:
With Workflow Management you can assign edit rights at page level or for the full site, allowing you to share the responsibility with content owners or even external agencies you rely on and introduce an approval process. A full audit trail lets you keep tabs on who has been making changes and to what.
Site Structure Development:
Pages can be easily added to the site by adding items to menus, links on existing pages or entire folder structures via the site map. The system automatically adds the page to the structure and allows you to choose an appropriate template style and add new content.
Staging and Publishing:
You only ever edit a mirror version of your site, so you have the reassurance that changes will only go live when you are ready to publish them. Content items can be given a ‘lifespan’ allowing content to be set live to a pre-defined schedule, via an auto-publish capability.
Unlike other installed or database driven solutions Content Manager can output in a format you choose, such as HTML, ASP, XML or even PDF. Whether you publish to our hosting facility or to your own web server or ISP, Content Manager gives the ability to transport content and maintain ownership of your published site, making it ideal for updating your corporate Intranet.
